Deena Esteban grew up in the small town of Darien Connecticut with her three sisters; Janet, Donna and Sheila. She is the daughter of John and Carole Hansen, and grandaughter of Walter and Eleonor Sandberg. Deena is married to Lieutenant Colonel Philip Esteban of the United States Army who is a former US marine. Together they have two children. Richard who is the youngest, is 15 years old he enjoys designing his own computer games. John who is 22 years old hopes to be studying at the American Film Institue next fall. Yes that is John who appears in the movie "The New World." Deena's hobbies include studying the martial arts; Kendo, Aikido, and Taekwondo. She enjoys classical music, playing the clarient, flute and piano. Deena is a member of NOVAC which is an astronomy club in Northern Virginia. Deena is an Art Teacher at Trinity Christian Academy and is the President of the Parent Resource Organization at Saint John Newmann School. She spends most of her free time learning to design webpages. It is her desire to start her own webdesign business.
